Good News for Chevrolet

Posted by – April 28, 2010

In the past month we have been hearing great news out of GM headquarters.

We first learned from GM CEO Ed Whitacre that all $5.8 billion in loans from Canada and the US will be repaid with interest way ahead of schedule.

Then we hear that GM will invest in plants in Detroit and Kansas. This is great news for the economy and the job market.

New Smyrna Chevrolet enjoys hearing the good news and continues looking forward to serving our area customers from Orlando to Daytona Beach.

New Smyrna Chevrolet wants residents of New Smyrna Beach to rally support for a chance to win a ‘Building Diamonds and Dreams’ youth baseball field makeover*; Residents encouraged to go to chevybaseball.com, nominate their community

New Smyrna Chevrolet, http://www.newsmyrnachevy.com announced it is going to bat for youth baseball in New Smyrna Beach through Chevrolet’s “Building Diamonds and Dreams” program where communities across America can win a home field makeover.  New Smyrna Chevrolet believes New Smyrna Beach could have a good shot at being one of the winners if enough residents go on-line to enter.

“Chevy’s ‘Building Diamonds and Dreams’ program is another facet of our commitment to youth baseball programs across America,” said Jack Holcomb, General Manager, New Smyrna Chevrolet. “Every kid wants and deserves a ‘dream’ baseball diamond and we have a chance to get it. We need our residents to go on-line and enter our community!”

To enter New Smyrna Beach, residents should go on-line to www.chevybaseball.com and enter 32168.  An ongoing tally of the most active ZIP codes will be shown on the web site.  Five winners will be drawn from the ZIP codes submitted. Entering a ZIP code numerous times could increase the chance of being selected.  Chevrolet is partnered with The Scotts Company, MLB Advanced Media and Major League Baseball to kick start the program to coincide with MLB Opening Day (April 5) and continue through the MLB All-Star Game ending July 16, 2010.
